Choreographer's Notes on 'Bad Dog':

I heard this track just after it had been released, and thought it was the most powerful country music track I had ever heard.

I STILL think that!

Before we had even won the semi-final of the British Championships in '97, I had decided on 'Bad Dog' as the obvious Finals music, had investigated the existing dance 'Bad Dog Boogie' but discarded it as a competition entry, and had half written the dance above.

This song MAKES one want to dance: the words are just brilliant, and the performances by both Daron Norwood and the 'Nashville Mafia' session musicians are out of this world. Just listen to how much Brent Mason et al are enjoying themselves: this is a song they WANT to play!!

In March '98 we had the great fortune to meet the songwriter, William Kitchens, in Nashville, just before he moved to Atlanta where he is now based. What a nice guy!

Find out more about William and his co-writer Scott Ferrell at The Kitchens and Ferrell website

BTW, a Windows Media file of part of "Bad Dog, No Biscuit" as recorded at the British Linedance Championships Finals 1997 is downloading automatically and will play once loaded
